The “AI OR DIE” event was successfully held on 22 April 2025 at the Auditorium of the New Library, University of Dar es Salaam. The event brought together professionals, students, innovators, and industry leaders to discuss the critical role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of work, business, and innovation. The event served as both an eye-opener and a call to action for embracing AI-driven transformation across sectors.

This coverage amplified our message and extended the event’s reach to a broader audience across Tanzania and beyond.

Exhibitions & Promotional Activities

UCC products and services were prominently showcased using a digital display screen positioned at the entrance area, as well as on venue screens prior to the start of the event. This setup provided attendees with an engaging opportunity to explore UCC’s offerings in real time.

In addition, branded promotional materials including flyers and company profiles were distributed to participants, effectively enhancing brand visibility and leaving a lasting impression on attendees.

Conclusion

The AI OR DIE event sparked important discussions on AI adoption in Tanzania, with UCC leading the charge. Strong engagement and media presence highlighted the need for AI-driven solutions. UCC is now focused on capitalizing on this momentum by developing and promoting advanced AI courses to equip individuals and organizations with essential skills for the future.
