Participants are introduced to Windows Server technologies which lead to partial preparation for the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) exam stream. Participants are led through extensive hands-on exercises where they develop the skills and core foundation to plan, install/implement, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain small but complex Windows Server environments.
Who Sould Attend
The Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) is Microsoft’s newest suite of technology certification exams that validate fundamental knowledge needed to begin building a career using Microsoft technologies. This program provides an appropriate entry point to a future career in technology and assumes some hands-on experience or training but does not assume on-the-job experience.
By the end of this course, students will have demonstrated the ability to manage a complex Windows Server environment. Describe the architecture of Windows Server operating systems. Create a Windows Server Infrastructure with pre-planning and implementation techniques, Develop Active Directory Domain Services after installation, Construct secure and centrally managed domain user accounts, groups, and computers, Manipulate Group Policy Objects to set security permissions, Describe networking services (TCP/IP) in a Client / Server model, Construct network based services (DHCP, DNS) for deployment, Prepare Server Roles and features for deployment, Describe Hyper-V virtualization
